This new co-living accommodation is proposed in place of an existing boarding house of 19 rooms.

The design takes cues from the curves of the existing Spanish Mission style single storey dwelling, named ‘Casablanca’, with its sinuous curves and arched references. Fluted balustrades and batten screens create a fine-grained counterpoint to the robust concrete structure

It is characterised by generous common spaces, breezeway corridors and lush landscaped areas.
